The academic community of FMIPA held a halal bihalal 1440 Hijriyah

Starting the post-long working day to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1440 H, the academic community of the Faculty of MIPA UB held halal bi halal on Wednesday (11/06).

The event which took place at the MIPA CENTER Building Hall was attended by the Dean, Deputy Deans, Head of TU and Head of Subdivision, students, lecturers and education staff.

Also present were Vice Rector IV, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Moch. Sasmito Djati, MS (Professor of Molecular Reproductive Biology). Halal bi halal begins with the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur’an by Nuzula Firdauzi, a MIPA Faculty student who is the 2018 National Level Musabaqah Tilawatul Qur’an (MTQ) Champion. On this occasion, the wisdom of Halal bi Halal was delivered by the Ustadh Dr. H. Zulfi Mubarak, MA. He explained the meaning of Eid al-Fitr which was the culmination of fasting. Eid al-Fitr has a meaning that is closely related to the goals to be achieved from the obligation to fast itself, namely human beings who are devoted. Ustad Zulfi said that Eid is an opportunity to meet one another and forgive others.


In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Adi Susilo, MS. expressed his gratitude for the enthusiasm of the academics in participating in Halal bihalal this time. He hoped that this friendship would be a good moment to overtake sins with each other, forgive each other for mistakes and make mistakes with fellow big families of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.


The halal bi halal program was ended by shaking hands with each other as momentum to apologize among the academics. (Yogie)
