The Visit of FMIPA UNHAS, Dr. Eng Amiruddin, M.Sc: “UB has always been No. 1 in PKM, we want to learn “

Friday (17/1), FMIPA UB has received a visit from the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, South Sulawesi, which is located in the 7th floor meeting room of the UB MC building. The visit was a preliminary visit to the interests of the MoU initiated by UNHAS. During the visit FMIPA UNHAS was attended by Deans, officials and dean staff. In his speech, the Dean of FMIPA UB Prof. Drs. Adi Susilo, M.Sc., Ph.D welcomed the UB Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. In his remarks the Dean of FMIPA UNHAS expressed his gratitude for his remarks, and this visit wanted to know more about FMIPA UB.

The Dean of FMIPA UNHAS, Dr. Eng Amiruddin, M.Sc. was impressed with UB which is always No. 1 in the field of PKM. His visit on this occasion was to explore and learn more about strategies and management in the management of PKM in UB, especially FMIPA. He expressed his desire to find out how the leadership support in supporting PKM, also related to academic, research and community service.

Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Darjito, S.Sc., M.Sc as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs said that one of the tips to support PKM is to compete in making PKM a prestigious activity.

“What we gave at the beginning was information on how to design proposals and provide rewards in the form of thesis exemptions for research PKM, free Entrepreneurship Courses for Entrepreneurship PKM. Besides, among the 13 student sovereignty institutions there are also professional institutions which we give awards and support for achievement in the field of certain “, said Darjito.

This is different from FMIPA UNHAS which only provides rewards in the form of scholarships to outstanding students. Amiruddin hoped that the collaboration between FMIPA UB and UNHAS could improve the quality and achievement between the two institutions.
