Wednesday (3/6), the Dean along with the leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya held a Halal bihalal Eid al-Fitr 1441 H online with all staff of lecturers and education staff, senate and students involved. The event started at 09.10 WIB and was begun with remarks by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Drs. Adi Susilo, M.Sc. Ph.D.

“Taqobbalallahu minna waa minkum, Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1441 H, Mohon maaf lahir dan batin”, Greet the Dean.

In his remarks, the Dean said that this year’s Eid is different from the previous year. Halal bihalal during this pandemic is carried out online, hopefully it will not reduce the wisdom of halal bihalal, which is to forgive each other’s mistakes and so on. Given this global condition, it’s thankful to finally be able to face-to-face via online.

He quoted the Qur’an An Nisa chapter 36 which means, “Worship Allah and do not associate Him with anything. And do good to two parents, close friends, orphans, poor people, poor people, close neighbors and neighbors far away, and your colleague, Ibn Sabil and your Sahabat servant. Surely Allah does not like proud and proud people. ”

The letter was quoted by the Dean as reminding us that we must remain in touch with others. He also expressed his appreciation to the halal bi halal participants who always smiled who were the characteristics of the people of heaven.

“Hopefully in this Eid-ul-Fitr period we will be more patient and willing to accept the condition of FMIPA in the midst of the global pandemic Covid19”, he said.

The second session continued with the reading of the Holy Qur’an and its translation by students representing the FORKALAM FMIPA.

The next session was the speech of the chair of the senate FMIPA, Prof. Sutiman Bambang Sumitro, SU., D.Sc., the Vice Deans and Chairpersons of the Department were closed with a prayer that was delivered by Drs. Mohammad Misbah Khunur, M.Sc.
